The Hermit signifies a time of transition and self development. With no particular place to go, go within, crawling back within your shell, your inner world, away from the outside hustle and bustle to find yourself. it’s in the quiet, meditative, lonesome regions of your inner psyche, that you’re able to hear your inner voice, your higher self. it’s then that like the butterfly, emerging from the cocoon, you become a way shower, sharing your personal wisdom and attracting others by living by example. Knowing that giving too much attention to material possessions and superficial relationships, will keep you from discovering what truly matters.
When one chooses to not listen to the hermit’s call to slow down and self reflect in preparation for the road ahead, they get stuck in never never land, constantly distracting themselves from the deeper meaning of life through frivolous activities.
