Georgie Smith
Born on the island of Guernsey, 1984, I began my art journey at age 16 when i studied full time at Grange House , School of Art & Design, Guernsey, a truly magical place with teachers that taught me to see things from different perspectives.

In 2002 I moved to London to study at The Slade School of Fine Art, London, upon graduating with BA hons in Fine Art in 2006, i jumped on a plane bound for New York City, which became my home until 2021.
​
During my years in New York City i devoted my time to creating 16mm films, digital videos and painting until 2017 when i found my medium in digital collage.
​
In 2021 i moved to Hawaii where i resided for 1 year, then in 2022 i finally returned home to Guernsey to raise my daughter Hawk and continue my art practice, creating both digital collage and painting which you view on my other site https://www.georgiesmithstudio.com/
